Referencing is a core concept of Atlas when using Park, Move-in-Mute and Live Moves. It allows the software to maintain objects within the playing space when no absolute action is associated with them within the given cue.&#x20;

Objects that are not correctly programmed will exhibit undesirable behaviour when not referenced.&#x20;
